Project 1 is a CAST award sponsored by Seagate Technology and DEL. Full award is available only to applicants normally resident in the UK. The maintenance allowance for eligible students in receipt of CAST awards will be £17,640 per annum.
Project 2 is a standard university studentship. There is no restriction on country of origin for applicants and no residence requirements prior to application. It will cover tuition fees and a maintenance award.
The closing date for receipt of applications for the above studentships is 30 March 2007.
